Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Aromas of black plum, cherry, dried herbs, leather and smoke. Full bodied, with smooth tannins, bright acidity, and ripe, round fruit flavours, with some herbaceous and smoky hints. Enjoy with grilled beef kebabs.
Trent Mayers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The grapes for this wine are sourced from the Andes mountain slopes where the cooler nights preserve the freshness and acidity in this full bodied Cabernet. The tannins are firm, but not overly aggressive. It exemplifies the black and red currant fruit that have made Cabernet popular worldwide along with some black cherry and pleasant black currant leafiness. Match it with steak and sautéed mushrooms with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. If you prefer a vegetarian option, just omit the steak.
4 stars out of 5.
From the Aconcagua Valley wine region, Errazuriz Aconcagua Alto 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is a well-priced, big and robust Cab with fresh flavours of ripe black plums, red berry, tea, vanilla spice and smoky on the palate. Good structure, savoury and satisfying. Pair with grilled meats. - Community Wine Reviews
