Reviews and Ratings

Courtney Flood rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Cherry, plum, balsamic; for a cab sauv, there is a very interesting fresh aroma - almost guava-like. Tangy wild strawberry-cherry sip, with some mint in the back. Good food-pairing sauv, that can stretch from pasta to poultry to pork.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Perfumed strawberry, cassis and vanilla notes balanced beautifully with herbal and smoky elements. Satiny mouthfeel with soft tannins and long berry finish. Terrific quality at this price. Enjoy with your next roast beef dinner.
Tasted Nov. 2018
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Once again, the Errazuriz Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 provides beautiful quality at an excellent price. Harvested in the Aconcagua Alto, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon delivers aromas of black plum, black cherry, black pepper, clay dust, leather and oak. Medium-bodied, the 2016 vintage shows a lovely balance and a long finish. Palate: dark skin plum, blackberry, dried herbs, coffee, smoke, leather and oak. Enjoy!
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Cranberry notes on the nose and palate with cherry, oak and spice notes on the palate. Finishes with slightly grippy tannins. Pair with pasta with Bolognese sauce. Tasted November 2018.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Gorgeously aromatic, with lots of candied and fresh violet, hung meat, black cherry, blackberry, cool spice, tar, and fresh earth. 91 Points.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Full bodied with smooth tannins. Aromas of plum, currant, spice, eucalyptus and leather. Full bodied and more fruit forward on the palate. Delicious and a crowd pleaser. Try with any grilled meat or hearty dishes.
Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A well crafted New World Cab. Sauv. Higher altitude translates into less power, better aromatics. This one delivers on both ways. Beautiful aromas with oaky vanilla and pepper spice. Noticeable chalky finish.
Simon Chen rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A good cab for the price. Nice eucalyptus, black cherry aromas. The initial palate is pleasant and smooth but mid-palate is a bit thin and tart. A good food-pairing wine with meat dishes.
Errazuriz Aconcagua Alto 2015 is a big, bold Chilean red wine cabernet with ripe dark berry flavours and a hint of chocolate. Still very youthful. Decant for one hour if pouring now or hold for three in cellar. - Community Wine Reviews
