Reviews and Ratings

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Subtle aromas of black olives, plums, and dried herbs. The taste is plum and has an unexpected cherry impression of sweetness that the aroma doesn't show as well as a touch of rhubarb. Nice and balanced in the mouth with medium+ rounded tannins and a plum and rhubarb finish. I think this will pair well with a charcuterie platter.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Lively acidity, food friendly IGT from Cab, Merlot fruit. Deep Garnet with a wide rim. Tart cherry, black currant, boiled rhubarb, black olive and savoury herb. Balanced acidity, fruit and smooth tannins. Pair with tomato-based pasta dishes, ragu, gourmet BBQ burgers, or eggplant Parmesan. @jonsteeves rated 88/100 - tasted June 2016
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This IGT from Umbria is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Primary aromas that jump out are sour cherry, plum and green olive. The wine opens up to floral aromas of rose petal followed by sweet vanilla. Medium-bodied with medium tannins and a sour cherry finish. Pair with pizza.
Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 78/100 with the following review:

It' a blend of 50/50 Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

This IGT has a deep garnet color.

Aromas of oak, spice and plum.

The wine is supple, opulent and very long.

Try it with a sausage pizza.

Serve it at 15-17 degrees.

Ready to drink.
