Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Intense purple-red colour with aromas of fresh cherry, raspberry, and plum with some savoury dried herbs and gentle smoke. Good acidity, grippy tannins, and a generous body. Good wine, great price, and an organic offering. It's a win-win-win, especially when paired with any grilled meats, burgers, or pizza.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of black currant, raspoberry, black pepper, leather and earthy spice. Full bodied with drying tannins and bright acidity. More fruit forward on the palate, spicy and leathery hints are more on the finish. Enjoy with roast beef.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Audacious wine from the Jumilla region in Spain, the Goru Organic 2017, shows lovely aromas of blueberry, black raspberry, lavender, cocoa, vanilla and sweet tobacco. Made from 100% Monastrell or Mourvedre, this organic and biologic wine exposes soft tannins, a long fruity finish and a full body. Palate: blueberry, dark fruit jam, bay leaf, tobacco and mocha. Enjoy.
Produced by Ego Bodegas, Goru 2017 is a rich, full-bodied and concentrated red blend of 50% Monastrell, 30% Syrah and 20% Petit Verdot. Wine grapes are organically grown and sourced from the Jumilla wine region. Look for ripe dark fruit, mocha, vanilla and cracked pepper flavours on the palate. Pair with grilled meats. - Community Wine Reviews
