Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

I love the label on this wine, it's beautiful, and gives you a hint of the flavours inside. Aromas of green herbs, lime, and gooseberry. Medium bodied, creamy texture, but with lots of balancing, bright acidity. Very green and fresh on the palate. Enjoy with herb roasted fish or chicken.
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Winemaker Andrea Kaiser of Drea’s Winery in Niagara made this Sauvignon Blanc as a nod to her late father, Karl Kaiser, former co-founder of Inniskillan Winery.
The 2017 grape growing season had a bit of a tumultuous start with a wetter and cooler season than normal, but a warm and dry September and October allowed for an uninterrupted ripening of the fruit, bringing about complex yet juicy flavours.

This Sauvignon Blanc, produced in small batches to capitalize on this unique year, boasts aromas of gooseberries, freshly cut grass and minerality, pushing through to a crisp lime finish. Mouth coating and persistent. Pair with goat cheese appetizers or creamy pasta dishes.
Tasted May 2021.
Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromatic on the nose with notes of peach flambé, honey, dried pineapple, orange marmalade, jasmine, hints of grass, and saline minerality.

Light bodied and crisp on the palate with notes of lemon and grapefruit and mineral notes seeping through.

Perfect pan fried fish wine.

Tasted April 2022
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The Drea’s 2017 is an exciting Sauvignon Blanc, made by Reif Estate Winery, located in the Niagara wine region. The wine shoes aromas of green apple, grapefruit, lemon grass, asparagus, saline and fresh bread. Light and aromatic, the wine exposes aging notes and soft acidity. The finish is delicate and provides delicious note of lemon throughout the journey. Palate: pear, lemon, grapefruit, asparagus, saline and butter. Enjoy.
