This is a blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot. It’s got the savage black fruit of Cabernet (blackberry, cassis) with some cedary, tobacco leaves lingering the background. Classically structure. Not as fruit forward as most Napa wines.

Reviews and Ratings

Philippe Perreault - Sommelier reviewed this wine as follows:

Mainly made of Cabernet Sauvignon (91%) completed by Cabernet Franc (6%) and Petit Verdot (3%)!

Deep purple color with notes of pepper, undergrowth, dead leaves, mushroom, and bleuberry!

The wine is grippy, full-bodied and very long on the palate!

Pair it with a stewed deer with braised chipolinis (chipolinis is a small onion)!

Serve it at 15-17 degrees.

I recommend decanting the wine prior to serving, to allow it to develop its full potential!

Can be aged 9-10 years yet!
