Natalie's Score: 92/100

Thomas Bachelder is one of the most respected winemakers in Canada. This is a spectacular Pinot Noir from a great year. Seductive fleshy cherry and cranberry with spice on the nose and palate of this ethereal Ontario Pinot Noir. Pair with veal and game dishes.

Pinot Noir food pairings: lamb and pilaf casserole, roast leg of lamb in rosemary and garlic, lamb chops with Danish blue cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Garnet with a watery rim and ruby hue. This is a gorgeous Niagara Pinot. Cherry cola, dusty minerality, baking spices and a hint of cranberry. Tangy, tart with mouthwatering acidity. Complex layers on the palate. Medium finish with persistence of cherry cola. Balanced and integrating well. Tasted 2015 vintage in April 2018. Decanted 1h. 92 points
