From the Burgundy wine region, Domaine Jean-Pierre Sève Terroir 2019 Chardonnay is an Old World-style, medium-bodied Chardonnay from the Mâconnais. Love the fresh summer florals, warm apple and briny mineral nose on this lovely Chard. Fresh and supple on the palate with ripe orchard fruit, white-fleshed stone fruit, lemon tart citrusy flavours finishing long on a briny mineral note. So complex and good. Chill and enjoy with roast chicken.

Pouilly-Fuissé food pairings: roasted chicken, grilled fish, basil pesto, prawn bisque, cheese fondue.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
