Produced by Jean Bérerd & Fils, this jubilant almost full-bodied French red wine spills over with bright red berry fruit and spice. Terrific replays of fleshy raspberry on the palate and finish of this mouth-watering juicy wine made from the Gamay grape. The 2014 vintage is smooth and juicy with black raspberry and cranberry notes. The winery cropped back the leaf canopy on the vines to ensure better ripening and waited to harvest until October. Lovely deep garnet hue in the glass. Racy and spicy. Pair with Tex-Mex, cold cuts, mild curries and spices.

Food pairings: grilled chicken, roast breast of veal, beef tenderloin.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
