Reviews and Ratings

Adam Bower rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Nova Scotia's premiere grape varietal, and a perfect match for local seafood. Tropical fruit, grassy notes, nice zesty citric acidity, and some subtle buttery, vanilla notes from the barrel aging of 6 months, but does not over power. A reliable level of quality that delivers year after year.

Pair this wine with shellfish- nice big Digby Scallops with a vanilla saffron risotto, or a lobster dinner! The citrus and buttery notes, along with some tropical fruit will do nothing but compliment shellfish!
Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This wine has almost 6 years now.

The color is Clear golden.

At the nose, you can find Apple, Lemon peel, sea salt and a small touch of vanilla.

This wine is now fresh, medium-bodied and long on the palate.

That's an excellent choice to match seafood.

Serve it at 9-11 degrees.

Enjoyable now but can be aged 2-3 years.
