Natalie's Score: 92/100

Mega Spileo Grand Cave Vineyard 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is dry, robust (15% abv) and lush with dark fruit, dark berry, savoury herb and smoky, spicy flavours concentrated and creamy on the palate. The wine was aged for 24 months in French and American oak barrels (70% new oak). Approachable now, but will show better with a little age under its belt. Pour with prime rib. Drink or hold.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: game stew, venison filet mignon, grilled game sausages.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
