Reviews and Ratings

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A Gamay varietal, this is a light-bodied Beaujolais that has been ageing since 2011 so the oak influence is in the leather and woody aromas, and the fruit on the palate is subdued so drink up! The acids and tannins are light and there are herbal notes and oak on the finish. Lamb would pair well.
Domain Fond Moiroux Moulin-À-Vent 2011 Gamay is a juicy red with ripe raspberry, black currant and pepper spice aromas on the nose. Dry, mouth-watering with ripe raspberry, sweet and pepper spice flavours finishing toasty and long on the palate. Pair with grilled game sausages. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
