From the Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County wine region, Decoy Limited 2019 Pinot Noir is a spicy, vibrant PN from the Duckhorn Portfolio of wines. Look for bright red currant, tart cherry, red plum, dried herbs and toasty oak spice flavours on the palate. Tannins are firm. Pour with burgers and ribs from the grill.

Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled chicken breasts, lamb chops, roast duck.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Duckhorn Portfolio, Duckhorn established Decoy as a second label in 1985. Produced by winemaker Tyson Wolf, grapes for the 2019 vintage were sourced from Green Valley, Russian River Valley and Petaluma Gap. Look for bright cherry, red berry, dark chocolate, sous bois and spicy, smoky flavours on this dry, medium bodied Pinot Noir with fresh acidity and velvety tannins. Drink or hold. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
