Lively and expressive with lovely white floral notes, white peach and lychee. Stunning and refreshing. This Australian white wine is a blend of Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Marsanne and Roussanne grapes. Mouth-watering acidity makes it a terrific food companion for dishes such as grilled chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The Stump Jump from McLaren Vale, Australia, is a refreshing white blend of Riesling, Sauv Blanc, Marsanne, Roussanne. it has a fragrant white fruit and slight floral nose leading into a palate with lots of juicy white fruit, honeydew melon, a line of lemon, gooseberries and slight grassy notes. Extra-dry with bright acidity and a grassy finish. Terrific value here.
Since 1912 the Osbourne family has tended vineyards in McLaren Vale, South Australia. The grapes for this vibrant white wine underwent gentle crushing, temperature controlled fermentation and basket pressing prior to bottling. It's rumoured that the inventor of the Stump Jump plough, which enabled a ploughshare to jump over tree roots, had poor eyesight and required regular tests to ensure that he could still operate machinery. If you can hold this bottle at arm's length in front of you and still read the front label, you can enjoy another glass. - Winery
