Juicy, savoury and delicious Australian red wine with black fruit and cedar aromas. Smooth and long. The result is an intensely concentrated Cab that finishes with terrific notes of vanilla smoke, chocolate and black fruits. Pair this hearty red wine with grilled meats.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: hamburgers, steak, hearty meat dishes, hard cheese.

Perry rated this wine as 89/100
d'Arenberg's The High Trellis (2013) is juicy, savoury with ripe black fruit and cedar brush on the nose. On the palate this Cabernet Sauvignon from the McLaren Vale, is smooth, concentrated, layered with dark fruit, vanilla, dark chocolate and smoke. The 'High Trellis' refers to the way the grapevines for this wine are trained to grow. The wine was then aged in French oak, some new and some second use, for 22 months. - Community Wine Reviews
