Fleshy ripe and juicy purple and black plums in this full-bodied, smooth Californian red wine. Zinfandel is a go-to barbecue wine with its big dark fruit flavours. Try this one with grilled hamburgers.

Reviews and Ratings

Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Everything about this wine speaks fun - from the Dancing Bull on the label to enjoying this full bodied wine with friends on your deck BBQ'ing steaks on a warm sunny day. At this price point you can invite your friends and your neighbours - just ask them to bring their own beef! Fruity aromas of black fruit and some vanilla. Lots of pepper and tannins on the palate - this is a wine to drink now. Fire up that grill!
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Bright, aromas of cherry, ripe jammy fruit, pepper and spice on the nose. Dry, ripe fruit, pepper and oak come through on the palate. Medium tannin and medium finish. Great wine for steak or other red meat.
