Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

From Sicily, a full-bodied dry red that shows ripe dark fruit, spices and an intriguing hint of salinity. Enjoy with savoury appetizers, such as olives and Prosciutto.

A flavourful Pinot Noir to pair well with a variety of foods…
Presentation: Simple, distinctive, easy to spot on the shelf and easy to read
Appearance: Clear, medium to deep colour, ruby to purple colour
Nose: Clean, medium nose with anise, smoke, dark red berries (cassis, blackberries), plums
Taste: Dry, medium to full body, high acidity, high tannins, notes of anise, sour raspberries, asparagus, earth
Finish: Long finish, with anise, sour cherries notes
Overall impression: A good Pinot Noir with flavourful notes that should pair well with a variety of vegetarian and meat dishes.
Value: 4/5

Full-bodied and rich with aromas of plum, blackberry, leather and spice. Grippy tannins with a long, dark fruit finish. Great value wine! Pair with red meats or grilled pork. October 02, 2016.

Nero d'Avola is a grape variety indigenous to Sicily. Cusumano crafts a wine that is velvety-smooth, full of ripe cherry and blackberry, leather and herbal notes and graphite-dry tannins. Pretty cool and great value.

Medium-plus purple. Ripe dark fruit aroma with a hint of spices. Medium body with medium-low tannins and long acidity. Fruity dry wine which will pair weel with pork.
Mika rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Full bodied and smooth, very pleasant to drink for the price! Surprised it was so good.
