Classic aromas of rosewater, lychee, baking spices and vanillin on the nose of this vibrant and well-made Niagara Viognier. Not over-the-top: well balanced. Perfect for Asian and spicy dishes.

Viognier food pairings: sautéed scallops, roasted pork, mild curries dishes, chicken stir-fry.

Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Aubert rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Only 150 cases were made of this beautiful, smooth viognier that was aged in French oak. I got notes of stone fruit with a bit of pear and light citrus. This is not your typical Ontario wine, and it blew my mind a bit that Ontario could make such startlingly different wine styles.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Shows floral notes and ripe pear on nose and a palate giving delicious apricot, floral and citrus. Vry dry, crisp with a lingering citrus twist finish.
The Viognier grapes for this Niagara white wine are grown in the winery's estate vineyard, the Queenston Road Vineyard. The grapes for this wine were harvested October 18, 2013. The fruit was gently pressed followed by a barrel fermentation in 2-year-old French oak barrels then 9 months aging on the lees. Seven barrels were selected for the final blend of this limited edition wine - just 150 cases were produced of this 100% Viognier. - Community Wine Reviews
