Red fruit and vanilla on the nose with plum, currant, and red licorice flavors on the palate. A creamy finish and fine-grained tannins provides a great finish.

Really nice, gets better as the evening wears on.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aged in new oak. Dark fruit, black plum, cassis and cherry with rounded vanilla, caramel and anise notes. Flavours are abundant with ripe dark and some red fruit. Oak, chocolate and smoke. Medium plus body and finish with enveloping well integrated tannins. A perfect pair for barbecued ribs and grilled meats. 89 points - tasted April 2017
Kevin rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Apricot, anise, and plum on the nose. Strong notes of apricot and red fruit on the palette. Soft tannin with sweet and sultry finish.
