2012 was a fantastic year for Washington State - showing through spectacularly in this Cabernet Sauvignon. A wonderful blend of ripe red fruits, eucalyptus, and mocha harmonize on the palate. A great pairing for your backyard barbecues this summer!!
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Robust ruby red gem of a wine! Jammy black plums, cassis, black cherry and cooked raspberry dominate the aromas and flavours. Hints of tobacco, cedar, chocolate and anise also linger on the palate. Smooth tannins, luscious acidity and a long gratifying finish.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Blackberry and smoke on the nose. The palate adds some vanilla and chocolate. This is an excellent wine with soft tannins and a smooth finish. Pair with grilled beef.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2012 vintage of Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon (H3) was tasted in early 2015. Yielding from Columbia Valley, this wine is 14% ABV. Ruby red, aromas of ripe red field berries and a hint of smoked back bacon and black peppercorn. Medium astringency, medium plus acidity, fruit forward and well balanced. Medium - full bodied, jammy and playful on the palate. Persistence of red fruit and bacon, finish of medium duration. This wine is ready to enjoy now. Recommend pairing with BBQ or braised red meats.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

I understand this Cab. Sauv. is on sale at the LCBO from now until May 22, 2016. It was a great value wine even before the discount. I know I'll be stocking up on a few bottles to pair with the smoked beef and ribs that will be coming off my Big Green Egg this summer. Lots of red cherry, leather and smoke aromas. Mocha and dark chocolate and rich blackberry flavours. A full bodied wine with integrated tannins and a long finish. Get some now - while you can!
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A nice full bodied and fruit forward Cab. Ripe berries, and jammy cherry and blackberry on the nose. Smooth tannin and a long finish. Enjoy this with a BBQ'ed steak.
Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 81/100 with the following review:

Deep purple color.

Aromas of chocolate, eucalyptuse, blackberry and black currant.

The wine is smooth, full-bodied and long.

Pair it with BBQ.

Serve it at 15-17 degrees.

Ready to drink.
