Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

This beautiful dark amber-coloured Tawny Port from Portugal's historic Douro region was aged 10 yrs in oak. Aromatic toffee, orange rind, nuts and smoke flow through a rich, buttery, layered palate with a velvety mouthfeel and seductive chocolate/toffee finish. Enjoy with biscotti and a special someone.

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A beautiful brick with garnet hue Tawny Porto 10 years. Declared 20% ABV. Persistence of dried fig, hazelnut, dried prune, plum, chocolate on a lingering long finish. Pair with an aged cheese platter or a dark chocolate mousse, or espresso terrine. Tasted April 2017. 91 points.
Quite a lovely 10 year old Tawny Port from the Douro, region, Cálem is a winner with pecan pie, and all things chocolate. - Community Wine Reviews
