The Lodi region in California offers a terrific climate and soils for Viognier, especially of the floral, highly aromatic style like this one. Bursting with notes of Asian pear, apple blossom and wild white field flowers. Lovely white floral notes with some peach. Medium-bodied and mouth-watering. Crisp, dry finish. Perfect for Asian dishes.

Viognier food pairings: medium curries, spiced dishes, grilled lake fish, pork.

Reviews and Ratings

Located in the Lodi foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, this vineyard is named after the famous stagecoach stop used during California's Gold Rush. The soils benefit from the run-off of the Sierra Mountains with lots of minerals and diverse soils. Tiny partials of granite and stone cobbles make for excellent drainage. Loaded with tree fruit aromas. Very fragrant. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
