Inspired by Haut-Brion, Clarence Dillon Clarendelle 2016 is the magnum size (1500 ml) of this beautiful Bordeaux blend of 84% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Cabernet Franc all wrapped up and ready to go in gift box. Poured at the 2023 Oscars, this is dry, medium-plus-bodied and supple red wine from a roller-coaster-ride vintage that resulted in a fresh, fruity red with bright red berry, black currant, earthy blue florals, savoury herbs, generous and velvety on the palate. A very nice gift for that Bordeaux buff in your life.

Food pairings: pork tenderloin en croute, grilled beef bavette, lamb chops from the grill.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
