Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Blackberry and violet with accents of black pepper, smoke, and tar. Ripe and jammy palate expressing sweet dark fruit offset by good acidity. Look for smoky chocolate and coffee in the finish. Beef, lamb, or chicken with a creamy peppercorn sauce would play off the black pepper note of the wine in a highly pleasing manner.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Bright ruby colour in the glass. Brett dominates the nose. Lots of fruit on the palate leaning toward candied cherry. Try it with pizza, burgers or sip on its own. Tasted April 2-19.
From Diva Wines, Chris Ringland Cr 2017 Shiraz is produced from a vineyards planted in the Barossa Valley in 1910. Lots of love and care have gone into the grapevines as well as the grapes. Full-bodied and elegant with blue florals, espresso and dark chocolate aromas on the nose with ripe dark plum and berry flavours on the palate finishing long with smoky, vanilla oak spice. So intense... and good! Pair with a roast beef done rare. - Community Wine Reviews
