Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Your patience will be rewarded with this Merlot dominant Bordeaux if you can cellar it for a couple of years yet. The nose is refined and elegant showing subtle red fruit and is pleasingly fresh. Subtle fruit shows on the silky palate but the tannins are still quite firm. Treat yourself to a few at this price and enjoy with cured meats and cheeses or earthy stew. Very good value. Tasted Aug 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Solid wine from Cadillac Cotes de Bordeaux, Chateau Tanesse 2015 offers warm aromas of black plum, black cherry, mint, new leather, dill, baking spices, cedar. Medium-bodied with polished tannins, the wine also shows freshness and a vibrant finish. Made from 52% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot, the flavors will develop into plum, black currant, bay leaf, charcoal, dill, spice and cedar. Enjoy.
From Côtes De Bordeaux - Cadillac, Bordeaux wine region, Château Tanesse 2015 is a great value 55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet franc red wine blend under $20. Quite delicious now with it plushy plum, dark fruit, dark chocolate and oak spice flavours on the palate. Tannins are firm. Decant one hour prior to pouring it with a grilled New York striploin steak or hold in cellar for another year to marry and mellow. - Community Wine Reviews
