Reviews and Ratings

Jisun Hahn CAPS Certified Somm rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A well structured, deeply coloured wine with intense dark cherries on the nose. Layers of black fruit, cloves, dried earth and hints of sage wrap the palate. The flavours linger and the tannins are firm, balanced nicely with a tinge of brightness from the acidity towards the end. Enjoy this wine with New Zealand lamb chops topped with mint sauce and a side of potatoes au gratin.
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon from Columbia Valley in Washington, the aromas are plentiful- ripe cherry, herbs, dark fruit, even mushroom. Cherries on the palate, smooth finish. A good value Cabernet that would elevate any barbeque or roasted fare.
From the Columbia Valley, Washington wine region, Chateau Ste Michelle, Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 is blended with some Syrah giving it rich, ripe dark cherry, plum, exotic spice, savoury herbs, smoky and vanilla spice flavours on the palate flavours. The wine was matured for 20 months in 51% new French and American oak barrel. - Community Wine Reviews
