Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Ruby red, dry, balanced. Medium acidity, medium fine tannins, medium body. Blackberry and cherry, with notes of baking spices. Approachable, accessibly priced, crowd pleasing appeal. Pairs with charcuterie, bbq burgers, or beef tacos. Tasted 2015 vintage in June 2018 decanted 2h. 88 points
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

From Cote de Bordeaux, Chateau Puyfromage 2015 reveals aromas of dark plum, green grass, smoke and oak. Fresh and young, Chateau Puyfromage 2015 presents tart plum, blackberry, black tea and a touch of cedar. The lively acidity and tartness of this Bordeaux blend makes a lovely sipper, even at its young vintage. Enjoy.

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Bizarre. Aromas are mild-moderate depending on your swirl action. You'll find faint notes of plum and spice aromas but the palate is telling a different story. Flavours of plum and ash (yes, ash!) are most prominent with a lingering metallic minerality note. What's most disappointing is its medium-light body and lack of balance (acidity, flavours and tannins). Tasted June 2018 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.com

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
