Château Pey La Tour Réserve Du Château 2015 is a dry, full-bodied Bordeaux red wine blend From Vignobles Dourthe of 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot wine grapes. Look for ripe blackberry, black currant, spicy pepper and smoky flavours from oak ageing on the palate. Tannins are soft and silky. Enjoy now. Pair with a crown roast of pork.

Food pairings: prime rib roast rare, New York strip loin steak, Porterhouse veal chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Elegant AOC Bordeaux Superieur, Chateau Pey La Tour 2015 exhibits the savoir faire of a Grand Cru classé. Produced by Vignobles Dourthe, located in the Haut-Medoc, Chateau Pey La Tour is made from 88% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot. This wine offers lovely aromas of raspberry, fruitcake, black pepper, violet, cocoa, aramel and oak. Full bodied with well strutured tannins for its age, this Bordeaux blend is easy-drinking now or can be aged for a good five years. On the palate, red plum, cherry, tobacco leaf, pepper, leather, almond, dark chocolate and oak. Great wine for any occasion. Enjoy!
