Reviews and Ratings

Julia Kelada rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Yet again South West France are putting out some faultless wines. This wine is simply top notch!
A great wine served with rosemary, herbed potatoes and a delicious herbed roast leg of pork.
On the nose there are red cherries, sweet plums and black currant jam. Notes of oak and vanilla.
On the palate succulent ripe cherries, black berries, plums and figs. Herbal notes of rosemary release to tones of licorice married deliciously with botes of mocha. The tannins are firm and give way to a black pepper spice finish with a great length.
Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

It's a blend mainly made of Syrah and Cabernet Franc.

Deep garnet color.

Aromas of spice, violet, blackberry and blackcurrant.

The tannins are supple, that's a medium-bodied wine and the finish is very long.

Serve it at 15-17 degrees.

Try it with a beef panini or with lamb cromesqui (it's a Portuguese canape, it's a kind of fried lamb.)

This wine is ready to drink but can be aged 3-4 years yet.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
