Natalie's Score: 88/100 A spicy, savoury Bordeaux from the great 2010 vintage. Value-priced for this region. This is a full-bodied blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Decant for 1-2 hours and enjoy with a rare, juicy steak.

Reviews and Ratings
Valérie Dufour - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review: Blackberries. Pepper. Vegetal. Pretty honest Bordeaux at a friendly price. Fully bodied. Plenty of matter. Good match for the fall stews.
Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review: This Bordeaux is medium body and has nice earthy, oaky and peppery aromas. Cherry stands out on the palate, followed by hints of licorice and chocolate. Would be great with fall roasts and meaty casseroles.
Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review: A complex nose of rich raspberry, spice and earthiness. Much of the same flavours come through with raspberry, spice and mushrooms. Nice acidity and tannins make this a very food friendly wine and if you want to go with the classic lamb, this would do the job.
Olivier de Maisonneuve rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review: Quite typical cabernet sauvignon nose, but with also a nice hint of a wet stone half buried in some humus soil, and some moka after some airing time. Definitely gains in complexity if you leave it a good hour in a carafe. The moutfeel is a bit on the astingent side, with some heat on the mid palate. A bit young at the moment, but i agree with Natalie, very enjoyable with a rare steak, or leg of lamb. Great value bordeaux.
Julia Kelada rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review: on the nose there is the warmth of wood, an oaky note. Black cherries and slightly under ripe plums. A wine that attracts your attention. On the palate there are rich cherries, black currants and plums. And well rounded oak nuance enters before a wonderous herbal fennel tone. Licorice steps forward and is followed by chocolate. Black pepper spice wraps up the flavours. Good tannins, dry red lengthy finish
Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review: Oct 5, 2014: Medium ruby, plummy nose, light baking spice with some earthy, mushroom notes. Medium body, red currant, cherry and plum and gentle spice. A solid wine with nice balance overall but with a little heat on the medium length finish. Decant 30min and pair with grilled striploin.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review: Deep aromas of black plum and cherry, slightly perfumed with eucalyptus and violets. Palate is a little more youthful with loads of tannin and herbal notes. Would be best decanted and served with rich, fatty meat.
Alice Kubicek rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review: Deep ruby in colour, this Bordeaux wine demonstrates its character with aromas of strawberries, cherries and redcurrants as well as eucalyptus and green olives. Barrelling lends savoury notes, marzipan, and rubber. Tannin is young, acids refreshing and fruit developing. A wine to enjoy with roasts, sauces and heavy cheeses or to lay in your cellar for another 5-8 years.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review: A spicy young wine. A deep ruby colour, full bodied, and aromas of oak, red currants, pepper. Young tannin and lots of flavour in this wine. Needs some time to breathe. Pair it with a nice roast beef.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review: Deep dark ruby red colour. Nose offers dark berries, underbrush, pine, and some leather. Big tart cherry and red fruit on the palate. Loads of tannins with mouthwatering acidity. This wine would complement rich and hearty dishes. Tasted October 2014. 87 points. Matt Steeves @QuercusVino
