Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

From Lussac-Saint-Emilion, part of the well renown Saint-Emilion satellite area, Chateau Busquet 2015 offers a blend 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. This right bank wine shows aromas of dark skin plum, dark cherry, fern, bay leaf, smoke and oak. Medium finish with a medium body, Chateau Busquet exhibits charming balance and notes of plum, cherry, fresh herb, a hint of caramel, leather and oak. The satellite of Saint-Emilion provides a glimpse of terroir from its big brother Saint-Emilion at a lower price, so don’t be afraid to try the satellite region wine. Enjoy.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

A 60/40 blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Bright red fruit on the nose with cherry, raspberry and strawberry. Flavours enliven with plums, blackberries, cassis, licorice and a hint of tomato stem. Medium acidity, tannins and finish. Fruit driven and silky. Try this with charcuterie and beef medallions. 86 points - tasted May 2018
Château Busquet 2015 is a medium-bodied red wine blend of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon showing small red berry and mocha flavours on the palate. Drink now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
