Love this Walla Walla rosé! Aromas of cranberry, rhubarb and perky, tart wild red berries. Mouth-watering and juicy, and exactly what you want (need) on a warm summer day. Pair with planked salmon or grilled chicken.

Rosé food pairings: grilled pork sausages, grilled chicken breast, ham and pineapple pizza.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Made in the Columbia valley region of Washington state, Charles Smith rosé wine made from 100% Sangiovese grapes. Pale pink with a salmon hue. Aromas of strawberry, peach, apricot, watermelon, cantaloupe and a touch of green sliced tomatoes and earthy mint. Flavours come alive with nectarine, pink grapefruit and underripe honeydew. Also some elevated marked acidity is quite dry and refreshing. Medium plus acidity, medium minus body and finish with some citrus and red fruit strawberry notes at the end. Fresh and light. Pair with light sauteed chicken breast, mesclun mixed greens salad with berries and light seafood.
From Washington state, Charles Smith (2016) is a fresh rhubarb, tart cherries and cranberry rosé. Very crisp, clean and mouth-wateringly refreshing. perfect grilled salmon wine made from the Sangiovese wine grape. - Community Wine Reviews
