Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

OMG, this is a great steak wine. Full bodied and luscious, big bold flavours of plums and blueberry. Licorice and spice add to the layers of this complex delicious wine.
Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

The 2010 Chapel Hill Shiraz has intense aromas of blackberry, dates, prune and vanilla. It is an extra-dry, full bodied, fruity wine; with good structure of balanced acidity, refined tannins and a long and silky finish. Though food friendly, sip this one alone; drink now – 2018 (screw cap). My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 91-92 pts – recommended due to its quality. Tasted at Churchill Cellars Portfolio tasting May/13.

Jennifer Wilson rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Part of wine tasting
Dark colour, with a densely packed bouquet of black fruits, bitter chocolate, fruitcake and blackberry all in balance with well-handled oak; the palate is concentrated and fresh, medium-bodied and generous; approachable as a young wine, with plenty of time in the tank. Drink [until] 2025. Score: 94 Source: Ben Edwards, winecompanion.com.au, July 17, 2012
