A dry and savoury mostly Tempranillo red wine blended with 20% Graciano and Mazuelo. Look for bright cherry, dark plum, pepper spice and soft vanilla flavours on this Rioja red. Wine grapes are sourced from the Riojas Alta and Oriental.

Food pairings: leg of lamb, cheese, hearty lasagne, grilled sirloin steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The Cerro Anon 2015 Reserva is an aromatic and delicious wine from Bodegas Olarra. Made from 90% Tempranillo, 5% Mazuelo and 5% Graciano, this Spaniard offers aromas of fig, raisin, mustard seed, pastrami, cocoa and wood burner. Full-bodied wine, with polished tannins that perfectly compliment its acidity and finish. The Cerro Anon 2015 Reserva will please any amateur of Rioja wine. Palate: sour cherry, dried blackberry, dried leaves, parmesan cheese, tobacco, vanilla and oak. Enjoy!
Produced by Bodegas Olarra Cerro Añon Reserva 2015 is a juicy and robust Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo wine grapes. Bodegas Olarra was created in 1973 and is located on the outskirts of Logroño in Rioja Alta. The winery is known as "the Cathedral of La Rioja". Love the lifted ripe cherry and smoky nose on this full-bodied Rioja red. Elegant and vibrant with bright cherry, blackberry, spiced plum, fine herbs and smoky on the palate. Easy to enjoy now. Pair with veal cutlets in a creamy mushroom sauce. - Community Wine Reviews
