Produced by Domaines Sacha Lichine from Grenache and Rolle (Vermentino) wine grapes are sourced from the Provence wine region. Love the bright cherry, raspberry and ripe red berry flavours balanced with crisp acidity and just a smatter of white pepper lingering on the palate. Chill and pair with grilled prawns.

Rosé food pairings: roast turkey, grilled chicken salad, feta and goat cheese salads.

Reviews and Ratings

Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Baring quite a beautiful label, this is a unique blend of Grenache and Vermentino. The colour is a bit brighter of pink as compared to any other Provence Rose and is medium bodied on the palate with a smooth texture and a nice, citrus acidity. It can work with heavier dishes, pairing easily with quail, Cornish hen and chicken dishes.
Caves D'esclans Rock Angel 2018 is a zesty, dry Côtes De Provences Rosé blend of Grenache and Vermentino grapes hand-harvested from Chateau d'Esclans' vineyard. Grapes are manually sorted, destemmed and then gently crushed with the free run and first-pressed juice partially vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tank and 600 litre barrels or demi muids. Rich on the palate with bright strawberry, red berry, fine herb flavours and a smattering of white pepper on he palate. - Community Wine Reviews
