Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A worthy and consistently pleasing Riesling with classic mineral, apple, citrus, and peach/apricot notes. Enjoy this light bodied and zesty Riesling with Thai shrimp spring rolls. Tasted Oct 2017 by @sommsosa | Bespoketastings.ca
Greg Hughes rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This dry Riesling comes from a great producer. You are not just getting VQA Ontario or Niagara, for that matter. You are getting more; this humble under 20 wine is VQA Beamsville Bench. It's got a wide range of elemental soils that make this wine complex; from technicolour clays, shale, silt, gravel, but most importantly dolomitic limestone. The Dolomites are an Alp range responsible for some wines with amazing structure. Ever heard of Barolo?... Nuff said.
Deep lemon-yellow colour. You can smell a high toned minerality off of it. Lots of lemon, citrus zest, stone fruit, and a green snap of starfruit.
Quite full and satisfying. Juicy, but not lacking precision. Mouthwatering acidity, which Riesling always has, and it is bone dry.
Pair it with mussels and lemon, this summer. You could keep it for a bit if you wanted. Maybe 5+ years.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Zesty lime, green apple, crisp, mouthwatering acidity. Pairs well with grilled chicken Vietnamese noodles. Tasted 2015 vintage in March 2018. 89 points.
