Cave Spring, Estate Grown Cave Spring Vineyard 2021 Chardonnay is produced from estate-grown fruit and is fresh, creamy, rounded and elegant on the palate with ripe apple, pear, lemon curd, baking spice, vanilla and minerally notes. A consistently great and expressive Chardonnay with grapes sourced from high-elevation vineyards in dolostone, clay, limestone and gneiss soils, the grapes also benefit from the cooling breezes off of Lake Ontario.

Chardonnay food pairings: roast chicken, lobster in butter, corn dishes, pork, fried chicken, almonds, brie, camembert.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
