Very pretty and mouth-watering Niagara Chardonnay Musqué, which is a clone of Chardonnay that is not exactly the same as many Chardonnay clones in that it offers more floral and apricot notes. Perfect for Asian dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A fragrant nose with spicy, floral, Muscat-like aromatics. Lovely palate with floral rosewater, orange blossom, ripe stone fruit, vanilla and tropical guava. Long tropical fruit finish. Try this with a spicy Indian curry.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A unique expression of Chardonnay that stems from the use of a unique clone. The nose shows tangerine, orange creamsickle, butter and vanilla. A great wine to enjoy in the summer sun. Tasted August 2015. 88 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
This estate bottled Niagara Chardonnay was fermented in stainless steel and not oaked to preserve the freshness of the fruit. Perfect as an aperitif. This wine originates from the winery's estate Cave Spring Vineyard located on the hillside of the Niagara Escarpment overlooking Lake Ontario known as the Beamsville Bench. The wine was vinified in stainless steel to preserve fruit freshness and offers Muscat-like aromas that are characteristic of the chardonnay musqué clone. - Community Wine Reviews - Community Wine Reviews
