Cigar box aromas borne on a river of black plum pleasure through the palate. Full-bodied with lapping layers of liquid velvet. This is the one to pour if you want to celebrate anything, including just opening this bottle. Pair this with a New York steak.

Malbec food pairings: pizza, lamb, spicy sausage, beef, meatloaf.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A full-boded brooding wine from a family owned winery that helped put Argentine wines on the world stage - especially Malbec. This single vineyard Malbec has aromas and flavours of ripe dark fruit, plum, tar, cigar box, vanilla, charred oak, bakers chocolate, anise. Sily tannins coupled with medium+ acidity give this wine some cellaring potential. A very long fruit driven finish. Nice complex wine for the ultimate wine collector. Serve with Argentinian style salted red meats. Preferably rare or medium rare. Yum!

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
