This full-bodied white wine has a smoky nose with peach and Asian pear flavours on the palate. Robust, tasty and satisfying. This wine comes from one of Argentina’s leading producers. Perfect for roast chicken or turkey. The grapes for this wine come from 3 vineyards and are whole cluster pressed and aged for 10 months in French barrels.

Chardonnay food pairings: smoky roast chicken, duck a l'orange, lobster dipped in butter, beef bourguignon, cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Grapes sourced from three separate High Mountain Vineyards. Full-bodied with crisp acidity. Medium lemon colour. Apple, pear, floral, smoke, butter, minerality. The length is long with a creamy yogurt finish.
I enjoyed this Chardonnay a little warmed up in my glass. Delicious!
Paired well with cheese Spanikopita.
Chicken and pork would hold its own with this wine.
Tasted: June 2014
The 2012 vintage of this Chardonnay was matured for 10 months, sur lies (on its yeast) before it was bottled where it spent another year before release to the market. - Community Wine Reviews
