Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

CASTLE ROCK Chardonnay from Washington's Columbia Valley has a delicate melon & apple nose. The palate gives tropical fruit, green apple, melon, citrus lime, vanilla and toasted oak, with a well-balanced mouthfeel and a long citrus/tropical fruit finish.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This medium-bodied Chardonnay comes from Washington's Columbia Valley. Medium lemon colour with nice aromas of tropical fruit, cut apples, citrus. The palate is crisp with medium+ acidity and notes of pineapple and vanilla. Lingering finish of tropical fruit. A very nice sipper indeed. Perfect seafood wine.
Tasted: June 2015
Washington state's winemaking region of the Columbia Valley is located almost at the same latitude as Burgundy, France, the benchmark of Chardonnay. Lots of toasty oak and tree fruit aromas. - Community Wine Reviews
