Lots of mocha and dark chocolate on the nose from generous, but balanced oak aging. Some black fruit underneath and mouth-watering juiciness for a wide range of dishes from steak to grilled pork chops. Make a splash with Cannonball at your next potluck gathering. This Californian red wine features Bing cherry, fig, spice, anise and dark chocolate on the nose. Pair with a pepper steak.

Merlot food pairings: pork chops, turkey, roast duck, beef, coq au vin.

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Fragrant ripe raspberry and blackcurrant notes on nose & palate with yummy dark chocolate added on palate. Grilled pork chops plus more Merlot!
Tasted April 2018
Cannonball 2015 Merlot is a crown pleaser. On the palate, this California deep-red wine is juicy with dark fruit, savoury spice and mocha. So balanced and versatile, this creamy Merlot will pair with just about anything including chocolate. - Community Wine Reviews
