Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

powerful nose of black fruit and vanilla oak. Sweet raisiny fruit with resinous oak...... great length.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

As I was sipping on this wine I realized that if there was ever a great wine to pair with BBQ ribs - this is it! A blend of Petit Syrah, Zinfandel and Malbec - It is full bodied with firm, grippy tannins - the grapes used to make this wine show their signature characteristics here with a palate of juicy dark fruit, dried herbs, cracked peppercorns, savory spice and new leather. Delicious!
From Sonoma County, Cannonball's Angels & Cowboys Proprietary (2015) red is a wine blend of Zinfandel, Petit Sirah and Malbec. Angels & Cowboys is a joint effort between the founders of Cannonball Wine Company, Yoav Gilat and Dennis Hill and Californian graphic artist, Michael Schwab. This crowd-pleaser is a big, structured, meaty red with ripe black fruit, pepper and savoury spice flavours on the palate. Pair with burgers. - Community Wine Reviews
