Reviews and Ratings

Perry rated this wine as 93/100
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Pretty amazing stuff. Loads of black plum, huckleberry, linzer, smoke, coffee, pressed and dried flowers. It is sanguine, peppery, and brooding. 92 Points.
Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier reviewed this wine as follows:

A floral bouquet of dried rose petals and violet, as well as ripe raspberries and dark berries, and a touch of leather. Flavours of juicy blackberries with velvety tannins, a nice acidity, and cocoa at the finish.

Tasted November 2017
Callejón Del Crimen Gran Reserva (2014) is robust and big 100% Malbec produced by the Finca La Luz winery. Dark purple in the glass with a pronounced nose of dark black cherries, earthy underbrush and smoky wood. Tannins are firm and the wine has a mouth-watering acidity with a long, warm finish (14.8% abv). -Community Wine Reviews
