A mocha-rich red with tasty mouth-watering acidity. If you love full-bodied, well-oaked wines, this one is for you!

Reviews and Ratings

Guy Delorme rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine needs to be decanted first. Vanilla, full of juicy ripe black cherries, torréfaction on the end, long finish. Full bodied wine. Exciting.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Coffee, caramel, mocha on the nose with decent raspberry and black cherry on the palate. This wine just seems out of balance. Pair with game meats. 85 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Glenda rated this wine as 80/100 with the following review:

Pinotage is a variety that is presented in three definate tiers of quality. I would rank the KWV Cafe Culture Pinotage 2009 as a less full bodied Pinotage made for early drinking. The special appeal of this wine is the overt coffee and mocha flavours. For someone who is learning to enjoy wine and red wine in particular, this can be alluring.
