Bruno Paillard is a Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs with the Chardonnay grapes sourced from crus vineyards in the Côte des Blancs. Aged four years sur lie, then 10 months after disgorgement. The mousse on this traditional method champagne is lacey and delicate with ripe apple, pear, soft citrus, toasted brioche and minerally notes vibrant and creamy on the palate. Drink or hold, but so good now.

Extra Brut Champagne food pairings: fish and chips, fried chicken, brunch dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Pam Hatton rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

Delicate pale gold with tiny fine bubbles emanating from the glass. Elegant and persistent but very fine and tiny bubbles that lead to a delicate effervescence. On the nose there are light citrus and floral notes giving way to minerality. The autolytic aromas of brioche and bread are benchmarks of Blanc de Blancs. The palate was silky and elegant with delicate floral, citrus and a hint of green apple. Lovely balanced acidity with a long finish. Truly a celebratory Champagne.
