Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

From South Africa, the Bosman Family Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016 unveils aromas of cranberry, raspberry, potpourri, dried leaf and brown sugar. The Bosman Family Vineyards is located on the Lelienfontein farm in Wellington, in the Western Cape of South Africa. The farm produces wines for the local and export markets, and is home to one of the most influential vine nurseries in Africa. Medium body with a lovely long fruity finish, this Pinot Noir 2016 turns your palate into a fruit heaven of strawberry, raspberry and red cherry that evolves into rose and cinnamon. Enjoy.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of tart cherry, raspberry, red earth, along with some warm floral and spicy notes. Medium bodied, bright, mouthwatering acidity, and vibrant fruit on the palate. Slightly smoky on the finish. Lovely and would be great with anything from salmon to pork or blackened chicken.
From Upper Hemel-En-Aarde Valley in the Walker Bay Wine Region, Bosman (2016) is a Burgundian-style, medium-bodied Pinot Noir with wild strawberry, ripe red cherry and red currant flavours on the palate, lovely dried herb finish. Tannins are fine, dusty. Drink now and for the next five years. Pair with a roast rack of lamb. - Community Wine Reviews
