This Spanish red wine offers extraordinary value and taste for the price. Aromas of purple plums and spice with fleshy sweet blackberries. This is a savoury, full-bodied blend of Garnacha, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Pair with roast beef.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A big, full-bodied blend of Garnacha, Tempranillo and Cab Sauv from Spain's Borja appellation. Full-throttle ripe red berries, dried herbs, vanilla and oak in an extra-dry, balanced dance of flavours. Great value at under $10.00.
Tasted Oct. 2016
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Great value! Fresh, ripe berry, oak and earthy-savoury flavours, medium-bodied with a smattering of acidity and tannins to make it food-friendly. Enjoy soon with pizza, charcuterie and other simple fare.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Ruby red with a purple hue. Declared 14.5%. Alcohol perceived as medium. Balanced medium fruit, medium tannins, medium acidity. Medium finish with persistence of tart Cherry and high cocoa dark chocolate. An affordably priced accessible Spanish red. Pairs well with beef stew. Tasted Feb 2017. Rated 85/100.
