Produced by winemaker, Kristy Melton, Bootleg 2015 is a dark and rich red wine blend of 53% Merlot, 21% Petite Sirah, 20% Syrah, 4% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% each of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot with the wine aged nine months in French and American oak barrels - 27% /2% new barrels. All grapes are sourced from Howell Mountain, Yountville, Oakville and Atlas Peak with the balance in Mendocino County and Alexander Valley. Lush flavours liquid dark cherry, dark chocolate and savoury spice flavours. Pour with a grilled skirt steak.

Food pairings: gourmet burgers, venison stew, barbequed short ribs.

From the Napa Valley, California, Bootleg 2015, is produced by winemaker, Kristy Melton, this well-built, robust red wine blend of 53% Merlot, 21% Petite Sirah, 20% Syrah, 4% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% each of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Wine grapes are sourced from Howell Mountain, Yountville, Oakville and Atlas Peak with the balance in Mendocino County and Alexander Valley. This wine was aged over 19 months in 85% French oak - 27% new and 15% American oak - 2% new barrels. Warming at 15% abv. Deep purple in the glass with a rich nose of blackberry, dark plums, baking spice and espresso coffee. It is dry, with plum and blueberry compote flavours, soft vanilla, baking spice and oak spice.
