Bonterra 2021 Sauvignon Blanc is a great value, dry, medium-bodied and crisp SB under $20. Fragrant with white florals, lemongrass, fine herbs, lemon-lime zest, guava and green mango aromas and flavours with a long and zesty citrusy finish. Grapes were sourced from three vineyards located in Sonoma, Mendocino and Lake Country Counties in California. Bonterra - meaning, “good earth” is reflected in the winery's organic farming practices and the natural care that goes into the making of the wines.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: seafood stew, broiled scallops, seafood cocktail.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A bright and zesty organic Sauvignon Blanc from Bonterra Vineyards. This Californian white wine is a pretty pale lemon green colour with aromas of peach, pomelo and guava. On the palate, flavours reveal bright citrus fruit, green apple and delicate lingering lemongrass with a hint of limestone stone carrying into the back. Light bodied and fresh with a clean crisp finish against nicely balanced, not-too brisk acidity. A nice pairing with herbed chicken and tabbouleh salad. - tasted July 2022
